Piki Piki

About us

Mobility that benefits everyone

Our mission

In Kinshasa and across the major cities of the DRC, the motorcycle has long been the fastest way to get around in dense traffic. Piki Piki was built around this reality: a transport app dedicated to motorcycle taxis, designed for Congolese terrain — not an adaptation of a foreign model.

We believe mobility should benefit both sides of every ride. That is why Piki Piki operates without per-ride commission: drivers pay a simple subscription and keep 100% of what they earn, while passengers enjoy a price displayed before booking.

A licensed platform

Piki Piki is a licensed and authorized transport platform operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In a sector where ride-hailing regulation is evolving rapidly, we are committed to transparency: our drivers are verified, our documents are in order, and we operate in compliance with local transport authorities.

What sets us apart

Zero commission

A daily, weekly, or monthly subscription — no cut on each ride. The driver knows exactly how much they earn, and keeps it all.

Local first

The app works in French, Lingala, Swahili, Tshiluba, and Kikongo, with payment methods Congolese people already use.

Verified & secure

Every driver passes a full KYC verification — national ID, license, vehicle documents — before accepting a single ride.

Real-time technology

Live GPS, integrated chat and calls (with masked numbers), trip tracking — technology serving every ride.

Our vision

We are building Piki Piki city by city — Kinshasa today, Lubumbashi soon — with the goal of becoming the reference motorcycle mobility platform in the DRC: fair for drivers, transparent for passengers, and built for Africa.
